My Trip to New Delhi and Agra

Most of today involved traveling for my trip to the Taj Mahal.  At 4:30 in the morning, the buses left for the airport, and we arrived in New Delhi at 10 am.  The only thing that the group did today in Delhi was visit the Lotus temple.

This is a place for people to practice the Bahai faith.  This is a new world religion that has a goal of uniting all the people of the world for one cause and one common faith.  They believe that the future will hold peace, harmony, and prosperity.

After this we stopped at lunch at a place called Lazeez Affaire.  The food was delicious.  They made cauliflower that had seasoning on it and was cooked in a way to have a different consistency.  I wish I knew what it was.  I also had baked vegetables that were very spicy and a type of chicken.  Naan was something that I ate at every meal, but this naan had seasoning on the inside of it.  I prefer just regular naan.  They also brought us out some delicious ice cream!  It was vanilla flavored and was so creamy.  It was the perfect ice cream.  Worth importing.

Then the group was headed for Agra, which was a four hour bus ride away.  When we got there we had a delicious buffet dinner, with more of the same food.  It also had a desert buffet, so I probably had a plate full of just desert!  It was too delicious to pass up.  The hotel we stayed at was amazing, and I have plenty of pictures that I will share!
The pictures are of the Lotus Temple.  In the one where you can see my lower body, you can see a pair of the pants that I bought.  I also have a bright pink pair and a pair with the lucky elephants!  I also am only wearing socks, because you have to take off your shoes for holy areas.  Some places make you take off your shoes as well, but this was not one.
